The Big Bad Wolf
November 9 and 10, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.
All the scenes will be based on fairy tales and will be narrated by
the Big Bad Wolf (Don Burt). The Big Bad Wolf will also appear in the "Little
Red Riding Hood" and "The Three Little Pigs" scenes.
Hansel and Gretel

With its highly original synthesis of Wagnerian techniques and traditional German folk songs, Hänsel und Gretel was an instant and overwhelming success. It was such a success that in 1923 it became the first complete opera ever to be broadcast on radio, and eight years later it was the first to be transmitted live from the Metropolitan Opera.
